- This is the station map (lands, tracks & structures) for Kapowsin, Washington. It is map S-6 of Washington valuation section 17, the Tacoma-Morton line. The map is drawn at a scale of 1 inch = 100 feet. It was created in 1918, with subsequent notations.
The map shows the junction with the line to Electron, WA, and also shows spurs for Alpens Shingle Company, Young and Johnson Lumber Company, and Kapowsin Mill Company. It has an inset map showing the Kapowsin Mill Company spur, with a sketch showing the overhead lift bridge.
This item is a digital scan of a map at the Washington State Archives. The Department of Revenue used it for tax assessment purposes. - Source
