We are Cascade Rail Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to sustaining the legacy of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (known as “The Milwaukee Road”) in Washington state through preservation and education.
This website is our Milwaukee Road Research Archive, where we provide access to documents, photos, and maps from our archival collections.
We house our collections at Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive (PNRA) in Burien, WA, where we are a member organization.
Only a small portion of our collections is available here. If you need assistance with research or need a better copy of something here, contact us through PNRA. This will help us track the public benefit we provide, which is useful when we apply for grants.
